Our 10:30 a.m. Meeting for Worship is being held both in-person and online for the duration of the pandemic.  For the in-person meeting we ask that you wear a mask and keep social distance. For the Zoom meeting, please email the clerks PFMclerks@gmail.com for instructions.  Let us know if you are familiar with Zoom videoconferencing software or would like some help with it. Working smoothly with Zoom has some challenges. Here are some things that will help us to have a focused and restful Meeting for Worship through Zoom:

●     Please try to find a place where you will be physically comfortable for the hour of Meeting, and where you are unlikely to be distracted. If you become distracted, notice and re-center to help us all stay together in worshipful energy.

●      Directly facing a light source helps other Friends see you better. Correct your positioning if necessary - if you cannot see yourself on your screen, no one else can.

●      Please ensure your name is displayed or ask the host to change it for you via the chat function.

●      Please turn off or cover your video, if something is happening in view of the camera that may be distracting to others (including eating, drinking or movement near or behind you). Options to turn on and off your camera and microphone are on the bottom left of the screen. We welcome children being part of worship, the same way they would be with you in person!

●      The same way we’d turn off phones, etc., before worship, please turn off, mute, or move any devices that may be a disturbance during virtual worship.  Mute your own microphone unless giving vocal ministry.

●      If you choose “Gallery View” at the top right corner you will be able to see everyone in the meeting at once. You can alternatively choose “Speaker View” which centers on whoever is speaking.

We have also organized a Meeting for Spiritual Healing during the COVID virus crisis. It is scheduled for Tuesdays at 7:00. Please email  PFMclerks@gmail.com for instructions.

Accessibility

Our recently renovated meetinghouse now has convenient access from ADA parking spots to our ground-level worship space. An elevator is also located near the front door for easy access to additional meeting and gathering spaces on the first floor.

During our 10:30 am worship, for attenders with hearing limitations, we have closed captioning available through Zoom..

Additional Worship Groups outside of Pittsburgh
